Bernard (Ben) Vonderhaar II

Bernard (Ben) R. Vonderhaar, II is managing director and head of institutional fundraising at Capital Square. Prior to joining Capital Square, he previously served as managing director of fundraising at BlackGold Capital Management, LP. Previously, he also headed the endowment and foundation, healthcare and family office practices at Highland Capital Management, LP as well as the Central and Southwest division as a managing director at The Commonfund. He also served as vice president at large banking organizations including Deutsche Bank/Bankers Trust, BBV/Compass and JPMorganChase (as well as predecessor organizations Chemical Bank/Texas Commerce Bancshares).

Vonderhaar has led successful capital raising efforts in private credit, private equity, private real estate, as well as hedge funds and structured products. He has been a guest lecturer in alternative investments and an Adjunct Professor at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. Vonderhaar earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in economics from Ashland University and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Findlay. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 66 securities licenses.
